Once you have created your profile by signing up on the SkillzTrader App, anyone can find you on the free SkillzFinder App. By simply putting in the occupation that you signed up with, people near you will see your avatar and can also see the information and adverts that you put on your profile page. By adding your Fb, LinkedIn an Instagram accounts, your business visibility becomes even greater. You can also publish your profile on Social Media with the touch of a button. The more info you supply, the greater your reach and the more leads your profile will generate. 

You can permanantly set your location to your office or business by activating your mobile SkillzTrader App at that location and simply selecting "Hide my Location". This will disable your mobile phone location and direct people to your office or shop address.   

To disable, select the "Make Me Visible" button on your SkilzTrader App.  

You can Sign Up as a ROCKET SCIENTIST for free to try out the app to see if it works for you.  
To register your business afterwards, simply log in on with your email and password to www.skillztrader.com and select the ADD A PROFILE button on the bottom of your profile page. Simple.

Your membership is either an annual one or a monthly one which includes uninterrupted access to new versions and releases of the SkillzTrader App software, free access to our technical support team and free, unlimited product upgrades.

You can customise your Profile page by adding an icon and add links to your website, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter accounts. You can also add unlimited text, upload PDF files and JPEG pics and advertise as much and as often as you like.

You can edit almost anything on your Profile page at any time. Even your phone number.  

Can't see Skillers or want to see more? Please slide the blue bar at the bottom of the map in Android devices or the white button on the left hand bottom of the map on Apple devices to zoom in and out of the map.

Your e-mail address is your passport to your SkillzTrader profile on the website and on your SkillzTrader app.

Without it, you will not be able to log in or to use it.   

We also use your e-mail address to safely and quickly communicate important private information to you, such as app and website updates,TIPS, etc.

That is why it is necessary for us to verify your e-mail address before continuing with the sign-up process to make sure that:

• you are a real person and
• your e-mail address is the correct one.

So, when you are asked to verify your e-mail during the Sign Up process, go to your mailbox to view the e-mail that we sent you.

Select the VERIFY E-MAIL button in the mail and you can then Sign In with your details on the website to continue the Sign Up process, or to log in later on to your SkillzTrader account.

By downloading and registering on the SkillzTrader App, your App will be activated and you will become visible immediately on the SkillzFinder App. Simply sign in with your email and password on the App, click VIEW PROFILE, click MAKE ME VISIBLE and see the magic happen! It is advisable to always keep your App on so that people can easily find you at your current location.

By downloading the free SkillzFinder App, you will immediately be able to find Skillers around you. How cool is that?

Definitely not. They are the smallest Apps available on the AppStore and less than the size of two photographs on the PlayStore. So, unlike most Apps, no data use to speak of and insignificant power consumption. So, keep your SkillzTrader App on all the time. That is how people can find you where you are.

Supercool, Supersmart and Supersafe. There are no other Apps in the world that do what ours are capable of.

Supersafe. SkillzTrader only keeps the details that you yourself provide on your Profile Page. Your passwords are unknown to us. The Pay Portals that we use are approved banking portals that use emails or sms verification codes or OTP's and are a third party service provider to us. We can never see or keep your banking details.

You can edit your profile by clicking the EDIT PROFILE tab on the Member Profile Page after logging in. You can change profile information and even add a new profile.

Simply upload your image or company logo on your Member Profile Page. Your image will display on the SkillzTrader App so that people can easily identify you when searching.

Your CV and advert will be shown on your Member Profile Page, enabling Skillzfinders to view your skills and your marketing material. You can upload as much text as you like, upload a 3Mb JPeg image as well as PDF files. All for free and as often as you like. 

Change your mobile number at any time on your profile page. To change your e-mail address you need to drop us a mail at info@skillztrader.com and our support team will assist you.

Simply add any or all of your social media accounts links on your Member Profile Page.  Adding info like this creates trust and adds value to your service.

The Boost function on your SkillzTrader app enables you to become more visible on the Skillzfinder App. Login to your SkillzTrader App, click on the 'Boost-Me-Up' tab and simply buy the required time to boost your profile to reach Uber Status. Your profile icon will start glowing for the period selected. Outshine the competition and get more business!

By selecting this function, your friends will receive an e-mail invitation to join SkillzTrader as well. What is more, you will be rewarded once two or more of them also join as a result of your invitation! 

As soon as you have registered as a member, you will be able to invite your friends to also join. Should two or more of them also become members, we will send a you a free Profile Boost. How cool is that?

To PAUSE, CLOSE or RE-ACTIVATE your subscription, please log on to your Profle Page with your e-mail addfress and password, click on the MANAGE SUBSCRIPTION button on the bottom of the page and follow the steps and we will send you a confirmation of your action. 

After selecting PAUSE or CLOSE, your profile will be visible until the next due date for payment, after which it will be de-activated.

We will keep your information until you are ready to RE-ACTIVATE your subscriptiont, but until that time you will not be able to edit or to manage your profile and you will no longer be visible on the SkillzFinder App.

If you want to hide your profile for a while, simply click on the HIDE PROFILE button on your Edit Profile Page or on your SkillzTrader app. Your profile will still be visible to everyone, but your location is hidden. Activate your location again by clicking on the MAKE ME VISIBLE button on your App or on your profile page on the website.

Your Skillztrader app works just like a google map and will show your current location as you drive. Never get lost again. Using the Skillzfinder App is not advisable while driving. Rather ask your passenger to search or stop to search.

The SkillzTrader App is a geo-location device that uses the Global Positioning System (GPS) to pinpoint your location every 2 seconds. It is also a handy tracking and safety device. Register your loved ones on SkillzTrader and always see their location. Click on the "Want to hide your mobile location" button in FAQ's on how to manage this function.

Steps to take when investigating GPS Issues on Android devices

1. Turn phone off/on.
2. Turn GPS off/on.
3. Be sure SkillzTrader is allowed to use your location. Toggle Location ON. Be sure that you've allowed Skillztrader to use GPS in the background.
4. Disable any battery saver settings. Including Power Saving Mode, Battery Management or any third party apps. Please see below for more information on your specific device. 
   1. HTC: Access your phone Settings > battery > power saving mode > battery optimization > select Skillztrader > don't optimize > save.
   2. Huawei: Turn Energy Settings to Normal and add SkillzTrader to "Protected Apps". On some Huawei models, you might need to put your location on in the SkillzTrader app to make yourself visible. Go to Settings>Apps>Apps>Skillztrader>permission>Location ON. 
   3. LG: If you're running Android 6 or higher: Go to Settings > battery & power saving > battery usage > ignore optimizations > turn ON for Skillztrader.
   4. Motorola If you're running Android 6 or higher: Go to Battery > select the menu in the upper right-hand corner > battery optimization > not optimized > all apps > select SkillzTrader > don't optimize.
   5. OnePlus (using OxygenOS Settings): Battery > battery optimization > switch to 'all apps' > select SkillzTrader > don't optimize.
   6. Samsung: Access battery settings > app power saving > details > SkillzTrader > disabled
   7. Sony If you're running Android 6 or higher: Battery > from the menu in the upper right-hand corner > battery optimization > apps > SkillsTrader.
   8. Xiomi (MIUI OS) If you're running Android 6 or higher: Access your phone settings > additional settings > battery and performance > manage battery usage > apps > SkillzTrader.
5. Check that your location settings are set to High accuracy. Go to Settings > Additional Settings > Privacy > Location > Set to High Accuracy.
6. Perform an "AGPS reset": Install the App GPS Status & Toolbox, then in that app, go to Menu > Tools > Manage A-GPS State > Reset.
7. To be able to log in to a different profile on Android, close the current session by selecting SIGN OUT and closing the App. After that, you can SIGN IN again by using a different e-mail address and password.
